Repair Supervisor

GL6 Repair & Rework - Mount Pleasant, WI - Full Time

FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Repair Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the repair team responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic assemblies, systems, and components. Once a part of the team, you will lead a group of technicians, ensure repair quality, manage workflow, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.

The Repair Supervisor will coordinate repair operations, enforce quality standards, and serve as a bridge between the repair team, engineering, and leadership while assisting the Operations Department as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations of the repair team, including assignment of work, monitoring productivity, and ensuring adherence to repair schedules.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance in diagnosing and repairing PCBA, server, and system-level failures.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, repair procedures, and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify root causes of recurring failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Train, mentor, and develop repair technicians to strengthen technical capabilities and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Track repair performance metrics (turnaround time, yield, and first-pass success rate) and report results to management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repair activities, test results, and parts usage in company systems.
  • Manage material flow and inventory for repair activities, including coordination with supply chain teams.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized repair area.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance repair efficiency and reduce repeat failures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience in electronics repair, PCBA rework, or system-level troubleshooting, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of electronics assembly, repair, and troubleshooting processes (SMT, PCBA, system-level repair).
  • Familiarity with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, functional testers, etc.).
  • Experience with ESD practices, soldering standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001), and rework techniques.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be able to sit or stand at workstations for extended periods, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
