Manager/Supervisor
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Consumables Supervisor to oversee inventory management and coordinate material distribution for production operations. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Engineering Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.

The Consumables Supervisor will supervise consumables associates, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive inventory optimization initiatives while assisting the Engineering Department as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of Consumables Associates, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of manufacturing consumables including solder paste, flux, cleaning agents, and other PCB assembly materials using inventory management software
  • Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring proper temperature control and shelf-life tracking for sensitive components
  • Distribute consumables to production teams based on bill of materials requirements and production schedules, maintaining just-in-time delivery to minimize line downtime
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and maintain detailed inventory records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies promptly
  • Follow strict safety protocols for handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, including proper PPE usage and spill response procedures
  • Maintain comprehensive MSDS documentation and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements for chemical storage and handling
  • Assist with workstation setup and material replenishment, ensuring proper rotation of date-sensitive materials (FIFO)
  • Identify and implement process improvements focused on reducing waste, optimizing storage methods, and streamlining material distribution
  • Coordinate with suppliers for material quality issues and returns processing
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas according to 5S principles
  • Generate regular reports on consumption patterns, inventory levels, and material costs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, material handling, or manufacturing support; prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and chemical handling regulations
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a production environment and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
