Foxconn is seeking a Test Technician to support our Manufacturing team. This position is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining all test software/hardware tasks and troubleshooting product test failures to support production manufacturing and ensure quality standards. 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Writing detailed test plans, maintenance procedures, test operational work instructions and test procedures  
  •  Design, develop and implement, cost-effective methods of testing electronics in a manufacturing environment.  
  •  Create and maintain test related processes and procedures according to Department and Customer requirements.  
  •  Troubleshoot and maintain test systems and equipment.  
  •  Perform and support electronics testing and functional failure debugging.  
  •  Design, implement and maintain test environment based on requirement 
  • Write technical reports to a multifaceted team related to design, test and electrical failures and manufacture of electronic products  
  •  Identify and drive test and process improvements to closure.  
  • other duties assigned

Education Requirements, Ideal Experience: 

  •  Associate degree with 2~5 years’ experience in testing 
  • 1+ years of software/ test development experience preferred. 
  • Experience with network production installation (servers, switches) is a plus. 
  •    Basic knowledge of Python/Java, C/C++, MySQL.  
  •  Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript is a plus.  
  •  Experience in Linux/Unix environment required.  
  •  Basic knowledge in hardware regard to all the main parts of a server (CPU, RAM, etc.)  
  •  Must have hands-on experience in computer hardware repair, troubleshooting and installation.  
  •  Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.  
  •  Must have a strong customer service/satisfaction attitude  
  •  Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing environment
